Documentary about the glass industry with primarily
recordings of glassblowers. In the illustrated works are among other bulbs,
street lamps, bowls and cups made. Several facets of the production come into
focus: melting, blowing, heating or cooling. decorating, landscaping, grinding,
glazing. Only when staff leaves the factory it shows how many people work
there.
