This site is dedicated to the preservation of memory of silent films. Although they were quite important in the evolution of cinema, they remain virtually forgotten nowadays. Kolozsvári némafilm-Silent movie from Kolozsvár
In Kolozsvar ( Cluj Napoca- Romania) was film factory between 1905-1920. In this studio worked Michael Curtiz, Alexander Korda and others hungarian filmmakers, actors composers. After the I. War the factory was closed. This film one of the few films wich survived the distroying.
