This site is dedicated to the preservation of memory of silent films. Although they were quite important in the evolution of cinema, they remain virtually forgotten nowadays. Syd Chaplin - Gussle The Golfer (1914) 2 of 2
Sydney Chaplin, the half-brother of Charlie, stars as the disreputable Reggie Gussle, who pursues other men's wives, cheats at cards (yet still loses), and who is a pretty lousy golfer as well. Gussle seeks revenge on the other card players, and the Keystone Kops end up raiding the place, with the ever-expected slapstick chaos sure to follow.
