Ellehammer began its flight trials at the beginning of the 1906th The film shows the flight trials of different models from 1907 and possibly 1908 and 1909, including on the frozen Bagsvaerd Lake. In the film, seen Ellehammer himself several times. At one time he arrives on his motorcycle, Elleham. Also Alfred Nervø who in 1910 flew over Copenhagen as the first seen in the film. Several Ellehammers inventions are today exhibited at the Technical Museum, where also a reconstruction based on the original parts of his machine from 1906 stands as well as his aircraft from 1909/10 with folding wings.
